W\u00e4hrend das Planfeststellungsverfahren erst im Herbst 2016 eigeleitet werden soll, werden vorab die Signalanlagen erneuert. Die in Eggolsheim, Buttenheim und Hirschaid noch verbaute mechanische Signaltechnik erweis sich zu aufw\u00e4ndig f\u00fcr mehrere wechselnde Bauszust\u00e4nde. Daher wird bis August 2017 hier auf elektronische Stellwerkstechnik mit KS-Signal-System umgestellt, die Inbetriebnahme ist f\u00fcr den 28.08.2017 vorgesehn. Vielfach sind in den letzten Wochen\u00a0bereits Kabelkan\u00e4le verlegt worden. Seit Ende Juni sind auch bereits viele der Mastfundamente f\u00fcr die k\u00fcnftigen Signale gesetzt.
